Earlier this week,Great Smash Bros. Ultimatedirector Masahiro Sakurai uploaded a picture from the Swap entry to Twitter, featuring Pit from theKid Icarussequence (contemplate above). It sent many of his followers into a frenzy, as the Battlefield stage in the background (picturing Inkling Lady) was actually the one fromGreat Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Whereas many view it was likely to be an older earn of Ultimate, prior to the game’s bear bizarre Battlefield stage had been constructed (credit to GameXplain), it also led to wild speculation that the old Battlefield stages will likely be making a return as DLC. It appears right here’s no longer the case, although. Sakurai seen how some fans replied and determined to stamp this out apt away with the following English tweet:
Yesterday I posted a pic showing what appears love an traditional version of Battlefield. This was a dev stage we extinct to examine how the game’s fighter objects would discover using a normal light source, and many others. You may well no longer find this in the final version of the game!
So, there you have it – the stage viewed in Sakurai’s Great Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshot is a dev stage and it can’t be found in the release version.Case closed.
