One among the largest announcements this week was when PlatinumGames lifted the lid on its brand recent game ‘Project G.G.‘, a title which is able to be directed Hideki Kamiya and is said to be “the mighty climax” in his superhero trilogy (already produced fromViewtiful JoeandThe Very excellent 101).
Earlier on in the week, the PlatinumGames’ govt director Atsushi Inaba said the Japanese developer wanted to launch this recent title on ‘all available platforms at this time’ but now in an interview with IGN Japan, he’s offered a more concrete confirmation that this recent self-printed mission is indeed targeting a Switch release:
Basically we’d adore to hit PS4, Xbox One, Switch and Steam, and then clearly PS5 and Collection X are coming soon. We don’t know exactly when this may arrive out, but we’d adore to release it on whatever are the main platforms at that time
As talked about, it relies on when the game is released. While there may be no exact date factual yet, there may be a more general release window:
Put it this way, we’re no longer looking at something as lengthy as three years. Nor will it be as soon as half a year or a year. But as our first self-owned and self-printed game, we want to deliver it as soon as we can.
Adding to this, the director Hideki Kamiya says he has no desire to release games like a flash and would rather launch them in a “accurate” state. Does this recent Platinum mission interest you?Leave a remark beneath.
