Tale Games has not been shy about adapting what has inspired them in the past, as was seen with many of the trending dances that made their way into the game as emotes.

Surely, it may not be fair to ignore all of the great innovation which Fortnite also introduced to battle royale genre, and gaming in general. One may easily point to the battle pass gadget as one shining example.

On the opposite hand, the Fortnite developers seem happy to take inspiration straight from their rival titles, even in the event that they achieve obtain some backlash over some of their original features’ similarities.
